   But suddenly we've found That each of us have handicaps And just can't get around. We used to run or dance and sing Or just walk around some shore. But suddenly we've sadly found Can't do that any more. The country fair was over there With things to see and ride. But aches and pains and backs with strains Can surely hurt one's pride. We really loved flee markets Though we never know just why. But we'd stroll along together With smiles and searching eyes. Then there was the antique shows to find things from the past. But now that we're antiques ourselves This passion just don't last. But don't dismay, for this modern day Technology can bring A new electric scooter and electric arm to load the thing. So now we have our scooter And are we ever proud! The problem now we separate And get lost in the crowd. Now we can't ride together On this electric chair. And I just can not have any fun When my girlfriend isn't there. Well I've always had a passion For building something new. Just find a need and fill it Is what I've always longed to do. I think that now I've found a need And one that's very strong. I'll just make a little trailer So I can take my girl along. Just take a look at what I've made It folds up nice and neat. It's simple, strong and very light Just toss it in your back seat. Now I must come up with a name For this chariot so fine. And I need a catchy verse to use That will last for years of time. This cart I've named "Skerdaddle" Just why I can not tell But when I think about it It seems to fit it well. Just hook me to your scooter Drop in one little pin.
